SHORTCUT HIGH Inc. has teamed up with Gary Sinise, Laura Hillenbrand and Operation International Children. Operation International Children is an organization that's helping our soldiers help children by sending school supplies, toys, clothing etc. to any country around the world and the United States or wherever there is a need.

Organizing an Effort

     Print flyers explaining the mission of this collaborative project and ask students, parents and organization members to participate.  Set a deadline for the collection of materials and include the kit assembly instructions. Establish a central collection area, where items will be sorted, boxed and labeled.  Ask that donors bring tape and sturdy shipping boxes.  Contact SHORTCUT HIGH Inc. at shortcuthigh@aol.com for shipping information.

Assemble a School Kit

• One pair of blunt-end scissors

• One 12-inch ruler with metric units

• Twelve new #2 lead pencils with erasers

• Small Pencil Sharpener

• One Large eraser

• One box of colored pencils

• One package of notebook paper

• One composition book

• Three folders with inside pockets

• One zippered pencil bag

• One two-gallon Ziploc seal plastic bag
